Flour tortilla recipe!
Ingredients:
- 4 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 8 tbs melted butter (I use salted)
- 1 1/2 cup warm water
Instructions:
In a stand mixer bowl combine the flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well. While mixing, slowly add the melted butter. Then slowly add the water. Mix for about 3-5 min. If the dough feels too wet or sticky add a little more flour. Shape the dough into a ball and let rest for 30 min.
Divide the dough into 16 equal sized balls. Roll out the dough balls using a little flour if necessary. Cook the tortillas in a skillet over medium heat for about 1 min on each side. The tortillas should bubble up. Tranfer to a clean kitchen towel and cover.
