Yes but it is not just them. It goes right down to your city and county.

ATM, republicans are the worst but they are by no means the only. 

As I have said before, voters can have anything they want. R and D are in the business of staying in business, if voters want candidate who wear pink tutus then that is what the parties will offer.  Same goes for honesty and actual working for the people.

If every single republican lost their election in the midterms you better believe the GOP would reform so fast it would make your head spin.  Same with Dems in the election after that.  In fact, we are starting to see that with the Dems. Not the party so much yet but with the voters.

Evie, the cat, runs outside sometimes.  She likes to go on the back screened deck and sometimes will run outside.  Other times I'll leave her out there cause she ran out and I shut the door to go outside from my deck, which should be a clue and my sons leave her out. 

We hadn't seen her for 3-4 hours before we left for the beach.  My son and I looked all over in the house and in closets for her.  We were calling her.  We couldn't find her.  So, we left some food on the deck and I asked my hulk bro to come over on Friday and see if she was in my house, or outside.  He didn't see her.  Was calling her name.

So, as we were driving back i was hoping for the best, but not too worried.  She always comes back.

I open the door to the house and she's right there.  She was here the whole time and hiding.  That little sh1t.

A lot of reform is just changing the disinformation message.  Remember the Obama fake birth certificate?  You are always gonna have 25-30% of the supporters for either party buy into sh1t like that.  It only takes 51% to win an election.  You get half way there just by tricking the blindly loyal.  They don't even know they are blindly loyal too.

I rarely watch the local news anymore.  Almost never.  I probably haven't since the first decade of the 2000s.

Locally, especially down here, I have no clue who I am voting for, in terms of that.  I used to just vote by party, which is what everyone does.  That's another thing.  It's like going to the dr and not knowing what you are gonna pay.  How the eff are you supposed to know what every person running for all these offices advocate for when you go to vote.  No one wants to do a study and write a research paper about the pros and cons of each candidate before they vote.  America is so big now, you have no idea who the eff you are even voting for, for local.

For some reason Jack Franks shows up on my Facebook people you may know.

The two party system dumbs it down, for local.  You have no idea who the eff you are voting for, for that.  You only have a R or D next to their name.

It is the local media's job to investigate these people, it is your job to read the results.

I know that my local media fails miserably.

The internet and smart phones has changed so many things.  Even as a kid and through my teens and 20s, I'd watch the 5 o'clock news and news at 10.  Nobody does that anymore.  My kids never watch the news on tv.  It's a different world.

Some of these races I don't see why it is Republican or Democrat.
Non partisan you would think
 Constable, magistrate or sheriff
Is bank robbery Democratic or Republican or other crimes?
 City commission was/still is non partisan when mom was commissioner.
Ways it can screw you too if wanted to run.
Some jobs you can't hold partisan office. Heck at state I couldn't be a delegate past county convention

Nobody reads print newspapers anymore.  I used to buy and read the Chicago Tribune riding the train to downtown Chicago everyday.  No one does that anymore.
