This woman contracted polio as a child about two years before a vaccine became available and spent much of her life in and out of an iron lung to survive.

I truly can't fathom anti-vaxxers who seem happy to resurrect these diseases.

IT'S WORKING SO FAR....
So you acknowledge that Democrats love visiting slums but just once a year in order to purchase votes....

We already figured as much....

Correct me if I'm wrong but I rather have Mitch alive and unable to vote than have his republican replacement
voting with the republicans.

How does he get replaced in Kentucky with a democrat governor?

Educate yourself and cease being a conspiracy theorist.  Known physics precludes interstellar travel.

You are just in "I've been probed" denial.  😜

I don't have many answers.  We don't really know what these things are.  Some of it is misinformation or false identification too, which muddies the water.  I trust Edgar Mitchell knew a lot more than you or I know and Inam sure Podesta does too.  Also, why has all this been hidden from us if it's all just conspiracy?  It could be.  I am not saying you are wrong.  If everything is being hidden, we really can't examine the science behind it faithfully.

We also don't know everything about physics or the universe.  There are theories that if you bend space time, you can travel faster than the speed light.  You have no idea all the technology advances we will make in 1000 years, 10,000 years, 100,000 years... we were hunter gatherers 10,000 years ago.  We were still in the Stone Age at 3500 BC.  Look at all we have done in that time.  Who is to say what the future holds?

Dunning-Kruger ... know what you don't know and don't think you know it all.

I am built like a gorilla.  So, it makes up for it.  Never bothered me not being tall.  I have beat the sh1t out of dudes taller than me and my whole fraternity house, even the taller guys, would come to me if a guest at our house was causing problems and I needed to handle it ... usually drunk as eff.

It felt so weird not drinking on a Friday night last night.  It's been a while since I have gone dry.

Recently, I have noticed when I am out and about, frequently black guys, who look a little hard, tend to say, what's up man" and things like that to me.  It's always black guys, lol.  I can be in a gas station.  I am always caught off guard, cause I generally don't acknowledge strangers out in public.

50 cents off current market rates

The gas is cheap. The Trump administration isn’t saying who’s paying for it.
Trump unveiled the "Freedom Fuel Network" ahead of Independence Day, offering gasoline at up to 50 cents per gallon below market prices
07/10/2026 11:58 AM EDT

President Donald Trump promoted a network of Philadelphia-area gas stations offering discount prices as a gift to the American people around Independence Day.

It’s not clear who’s footing the bill.

The White House has said only that the venture is a private company willing to take a hit on its profit margins to help American drivers struggling with high prices following the war in Iran. Trump himself said on social media it is backed by a “VERY smart Retailer” that is “doing this because they love the U.S.A.”

From what I'm reading from back north, the stations used to be Sunoco, Karco, and gas n go stations. I'm guessing privately owned stations opposed to company owned who are participating.

There is no oil shortage. I pay $3.29 for gas at BJ's wholesale.

That's okay! I know some people think because my husband went to a private school that we would send ours but we chose not too.

There are a lot of great public schools making alternatives unnecessary. The point was there's no choice as to where to send your kids to school.

WASHINGTON—In a brutal defeat for Donald J. Trump, Senator Mitch McConnell handily trounced him on a cognitive test administered to both men on Saturday.
According to an attending neurologist who spoke on condition of anonymity, “When asked the test questions, Senator McConnell was totally unresponsive, as opposed to President Trump, who got every one wrong.”
Trump took to Truth Social to claim that the cognitive test was “rigged,” ending his rant with a perplexing, “Bamp you for your babention to this butter.”
The loss to McConnell is just Trump’s latest bad result on a cognitive exam, having been soundly bested earlier this week by a single-celled alga. See less

Kinda true.  My 2 brothers and I fought a lot growing up.  Way more than most kids did.  I had been training for it my whole life, lol.  My brothers are tougher than eff too.  So, I compared guys who would start sh1t with me and know it was gonna be easy.

No one has messed with me since my early 20s.  I haven't been in a fight since college.  I don't start sh1t, and you'd have to be a effing idiot to start it with me. I don't start sh1t, but I have no problem finishing it.

I wasn't even a member of my fraternity and was just a pledge and 3 guys at sigma chi, the house across the street jumped me as I was walking back to my house across the street after I walked out to make sure one of my future brothers was okay, who was talking to them, after some altercation that I wasn't even involved in.

My whole house saw me beat the sh1t out of them and send one away in an ambulance.  I had hardly a scratch on me, lol.  After that, it was by default that I'd have to deal with any guests who caused problems at our house.  I didn't ask for this.  It wasn't a big deal and over the course of years, I only had a few problems I had to deal with.  A bunch of kids and tons of alcohol is gonna create problems sometimes.
