Until I moved to Colorado, I only ran pretty much for school sports ... football and wrestling. I told you all, it was so hard, everyone could hardly walk the first week cause their body was so sore. Going from junior high sports practice to high school, even freshman year, was night and day, in intensity.
So, I never really liked running. I just wanted to play sports, not kill ourselves running at practice, lol. You need it for endurance, however, especially for wrestling. It's exhausting. It's like being in a street fight that isn't over in 2 minutes, endurance. If you have ever been in a really long street fight, that's the closest thing I can describe it as, if you haven't wrestled or done MMA.
