The thing is you may not like who is running in the primaries but the only way one can vote is by declaring a party and then in general election you can choose to vote differently. I don't vote straight party when it comes to general elections but I vote in the primaries in order to vote in the general elections. If you don't vote in the primary after so many times than you aren't allowed to vote at all until you have registered in a party. My philosophy is one can't complain about what is happening in the country if you haven't voted.
