"...Southern Baptists vote to advance a formal ban on churches with women pastors..."

"...The sole opposition came from South Carolina pastor Doug Mize. He said the measure wasn’t necessary because the denomination already has a mechanism to expel churches with women in senior pastoral positions, and it’s done so on multiple times.

“What we have already works,” he said..."

I hear ships have been trying to go through Straits of Hormuz late at night hugging coast with US military trying to protect them. That could have been occurring during shootdown of Apache helicopter

US launches a second straight day of airstrikes in Iran
President Donald Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth had telegraphed the action earlier in the day.

Bear was back at school yesterday
2 people showed me pictures of it.
I said I know what it looks like I called them Sunday.

I'm afraid to feed birds that it might attract it.
Taken up garbage can it knocked over by grille where camp kids meet inside and Boys & Girls club and patio area with tables outside.
It hasn't been seen today
Say male last year bear(young)
I was outside  little over 3 hours this afternoon. Got hot. 92.

If they didn't know they do now

Trump says 'secret' military mission got oil through Strait of Hormuz
Trump said in a social media post that the United States military helped get 100 million barrels of oil through the strait without Iran's knowledge.

"We've been taking out millions of barrels of oil? Nobody knows it. You know who doesn't know? Iran until right now," Trump told reporters at the White House, adding the ships have been moving through the strait "late at night with no lights."

The president said in his social media post that 200 commercial ships have "traveled safely through the Strait" and that the "UNITED STATES of AMERICA CONTROLS the Strait of Hormuz." American military forces have been clashing with Iran over the strait in recent days, though, and Reuters reported late last month that shipping traffic continues to be limited and well below pre-war levels.

Iran shot down an American Apache helicopter near the strait on June 8, prompting American forces to retaliate with attacks on "air defense, ground control stations, and surveillance radar sites near the Strait of Hormuz," according to U.S. Central Command.

Problems with fund before Trump but shows getting worse

Trump is accelerating our Social Security insolvency crisis
A new report lays out how Trump’s policy decisions are hurting a valuable part of the American social safety net.
A new report lays out how Trump’s policy decisions are hurting a valuable part of the American social safety net.
MS NOW · ms.now

The report names three factors that contributed to the earlier insolvency date. One is a declining fertility rate, but the other two drivers can be traced back to Trump: a drop in immigration into the country, and the “substantial effect” of the tax policies in the One Big Beautiful Bill he signed last summer.

Trump’s acceleration of the program’s insolvency comes atop his assaults on the program’s administrative capacities.

Reduced immigration during Trump’s second term — especially when coupled with a declining fertility rate — strains Social Security because the program is funded through payroll taxes. Those come out of people’s paychecks, and fewer workers supporting an aging population means the program receives less revenue.

Last year's tax cuts were boon to rich but bust to trust fund

To be clear, if the fund is depleted, Social Security won’t go belly up. Benefits will continue to be paid out, but there will be a large drop in the amount. The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimates that the “average monthly cut would total $500, which is more than what the average retired household spends on groceries each month.”

That would be a huge blow to the budgets of many older Americans. Social Security is a major source of income for most retirees, and roughly 40% of beneficiaries over the age of 65 rely on it for most of their income. And it would mark the destabilization of the sole source of retirement security for most Americans that is supposed to be insulated from ups and downs — unlike 401K plans. As the CBPP has pointed out, Social Security is “most workers’ only source of guaranteed retirement income that is not subject to investment risk or financial market fluctuations.”

Remember Colorado, Utah, Oregon and Washington have 100% mail in voting.
Order is clearly illegal and unconstitutional. States run elections.
Meant to disenfranchise eligible voters and transfer mail service from neutral to arbiter of who can cast ballot

I took a nap this afternoon.  My back feels 100%.  My boys wanted me to go see a Dr.  I know my body.

Maybe 90%, not 100%.  It will get there.  No pain anymore, at least.
