If one does the research, it can all be traced back to huge parent conglomerates which own the companies making brand names and store brands, all using the same base ingredients but tweaked to cater to different tastes.
Is also the same with stores, for example in US, you have Aldi's, which is a Dutch company. In Netherlands the stores are much different than in the states. They are more like a department store in Netherlands and of course sell brands not found in the states. There are also in Europe the British Primark stores which are different in each country where they exist but also basically the same. They launched some stores in the US, in the New England states which i here are really coming for the Walmart stores there. Will likely be Primark stores all over the US in about a decade.
I miss some of the stores that we went to in Ukraine. Especially the cross stitch store and the threads they had.
