why so few Americans ACTUALLY vote. I think the answer to that is that they don’t know how good they actually have it, so there is no urgent need to preserve it.
I vote because I am of the adage that if one doesn't vote than one had nothing to complain about.. inresearch the candidates to make sure I vote for who I think will do a decent job. Does that mean I have always had the right vote of that person, nope but at least I can complain.
So you vote because you think voting gives you the right to complain?
I vote for who I hope will do the best job and if they don't then when they come up for reelection I would hope I could vote them out. If one never votes, one doesn't have the right to complain since they could have voted to make a change possibly. If one never votes they have no right to complain about who is in office as they could have voted to get someone in there to make changes.
So you are saying one gives up their freedom of speech if they decide to not vote?

Term limits would work across the board.
