We were talking about politicians making a high salary and off of people like you and me. You really do grasp at straws.  By the way, if a politician didn't want to do what they wanted, they could step away anytime. Where did I say this applies to those  who work regular jobs? Most people retire after working 20-30 years in a job and not work all their lives.  Reading skills escape you don't they, we are talking about career politicians who are corrupting our government but since you don't vote or more than likely vote to keep them in, you don't get it.

That would by definition take away my right to vote for them to represent me in the future l, so you want to take away my right to vote for who I want to represent me.
