I have gold plated problems.  Nothing near true hardship. Never really have had it too hard.  Got attacked by yellow jackets once, my dog got hit by a motorcycle when I was a little kid.   That's about as bad as it's ever been.

My dog accidentally hung itself when I was nine. I didn't know any better....tied her to the back deck of the house....she jumped off the deck...I found her hanging there with the leash around her throat...

After 3 weeks and a lot of unnecessary silliness, including sending a repair guy from another city to my house to do nothing but verify that it was on the blink, the warranty folks have decided to ship me a new TV of comparable model.   Why couldn't they have just done that 3 weeks ago?

Now, WTH do I do with a boogered TV?

Had to be on campus and was only a few minutes aways so I stopped by Table Mesa King Soopers. Heartbreaking. A lot of people. They are reopening on Monday.

My wife has us catching up on the Walking Dead that we missed.  You would think that after all that time those folks would have learned to guard their important stuff like the water supply. But no, right out there in the open where anyone can get to it and not a soul in sight watching it. lol

There's actually still guys that fix tv's?  I thought you just threw them out and bought new ones like everything else these days.

Yep, once they figured out a way to raise the price of TVs, repairing them came back into vogue.  Repair dude said mine was reparable, however the part was unavailable right now.  I don't care one way or the other as long as I get the warranty I paid for and have a TV that works. Fix it, replace it, send me a check, whatever.
