Wow.  I was out for some 2 weeks.  I had not been watching or listening to news and had about a 1 min warning before it came ripping up my holler.
I had a Wisteria growing up a 4x4 post affair and it broke the post in half, blew over my privacy fence, as in blew it half the yard, my junk, and the neighbors' junk was scattered all around, trees down all over.....   But the ice storm beat it for destruction.

It was hard to sleep prior to 2AM in the morning during that late June/early July event. Think it was about 150 miles away from an area with electricity up until then and many travelers were stranded in Princeton due to lack of gas and electricity. Quite an adventure...

The court determined that in order to sue for excessive force under the Fourth Amendment, it is not necessary for a plaintiff to have been physically seized by law enforcement.

“We hold that the application of physical force to the body of a person with intent to restrain is a seizure even if the person does not submit and is not subdued,” conservative Chief Justice John Roberts wrote in the ruling.

Roberts was joined in the decision by the court’s three liberals and one of his fellow conservatives, Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Three other conservatives justices dissented. The newest justice, conservative Amy Coney Barrett, did not participate because she had not yet joined the court when the case was argued in October...."

This has been needed for a long long time. It’s truly sad how those very police that committed crimes are the one’s to investigate said crime they themselves, committed? Wtf?!
