I think anyone who is abusive in any form lacks self control and self esteem, instead of being ok with themselves with all the human fallacies and imperfections they take their fears and insecurities out on others, very cowardly and exhibits a extreme amount of poor moral fiber, as WLU would say off to the FEMA camp with them

You have people like Joanna who believe in killing an unborn child is a 'right', but rages against somebody who abuses an animal/child.  You can't make this level of insanity up. I tried to tell her, draw pictures and sent a video link on how children are made, and that if "pro-choice" people don't want kids they should stop doing the very ONE thing causing it. I don't think it has sunk in yet....

But as we see, it isn't about really having a 'choice' cause 'my body', it's really about not wanting to pay the consequences for our actions.

I’d say this pretty much is the summary of your bull. lol

So how do you proceed in helping them? And do you have sex, or just win with all that abstinence bull you’re peddling here?
What type of point are you trying to make?
Be the change you want to see in the world

Ten biblical episodes and prophecies provide an unequivocal expression of God's attitude toward human life, especially the ontological status of "unborn children" and their pregnant mothers-to-be. Brief summaries:

• A pregnant woman who is injured and aborts the fetus warrants financial compensation only (to her husband), suggesting that the fetus is property, not a person (Exodus 21:22-25).

• The gruesome priestly purity test to which a wife accused of adultery must submit will cause her to abort the fetus if she is guilty, indicating that the fetus does not possess a right to life (Numbers 5:11-31).

• God enumerated his punishments for disobedience, including "cursed shall be the fruit of your womb" and "you will eat the fruit of your womb," directly contradicting sanctity-of-life claims (Deuteronomy 28:18,53).

• Elisha's prophecy for soon-to-be King Hazael said he would attack the Israelites, burn their cities, crush the heads of their babies and rip open their pregnant women (2 Kings 8:12).

• King Menahem of Israel destroyed Tiphsah (also called Tappuah) and the surrounding towns, killing all residents and ripping open pregnant women with the sword (2 Kings 15:16).

• Isaiah prophesied doom for Babylon, including the murder of unborn children: "They will have no pity on the fruit of the womb" (Isaiah 13:18).

• For worshiping idols, God declared that not one of his people would live, not a man, woman or child (not even babies in arms), again confuting assertions about the sanctity of life (Jeremiah 44:7-8).

• God will punish the Israelites by destroying their unborn children, who will die at birth, or perish in the womb, or never even be conceived (Hosea 9:10-16).

• For rebelling against God, Samaria's people will be killed, their babies will be dashed to death against the ground, and their pregnant women will be ripped open with a sword (Hosea 13:16).

• Jesus did not express any special concern for unborn children during the anticipated end times: "Woe to pregnant women and those who are nursing" (Matthew 24:19).

Shall I go on?
Nope, and those were the verses exactly.

There are more rules for women than the good old boy network as the Bible was written by men.
Abraham was told to kill his son for a sacrfice. And yep, the Bible was written by men, women didn't have a voice. Had Joseph not agreed to marry Mary, she would have and could have been  stoned to death for being pregnant outside of wedlock. Lots of women, I imagine were in those days for that.

What type of point are you trying to make?
The question should read as, “why is he peddling the conservative Christian nonsense that we’ve all heard before?”

His point was moot from the beginning. And I for one do not believe in Santa.

I believe he was trying for the goal of teaching you a lesson by way of conservatism.
Did it work?

He forgot how much even Liberals (that dirty word) too are just as concerned with their mates and offspring as much as any “holier than thou” Christian conservative.

Hope this helps.

Do you have any proof of that?  I'd settle for a well thought out speculative reason as why you think this than your obvious anti-male, "man wrote it" excuse.
You seem to be implying men are incapable of writing "pro-female" works.   My, My, you're just the little sexist hypocrite.  Cute.

Please re-read for context because you’re bias is showing.

Men owned women.

What does this have to do with anything I said that involves women being (paraphrased) "mentioned all the time" and "rules for the husband towards the wife" in the Bible?

1 Timothy 2:12 - But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

That look like the wife is your equal, or owned as property?

So there’s your context.

Can you please quote where I said men and women are equal?   Matter of fact, here is a quote of me saying the exact opposite.

"Your fears of women never being equal are not unfounded. If you were equal to men, you'd be called a man. And if men were equal to women, they'd be called women. Even "equality" under the law will never happen 100%. Humans are flawed creature's, somebody will always want what somebody else has and more. The type of parity you are looking for doesn't exist - fiction. And the people promising it to you are liars high-jacking your emotions" -WLU

Why?   Probably because of the same reason your peddling your anti-christian, anti-male nonsense we've all heard before. This is a forum to voice divergent views. Surprising, right?

I also don't believe is Santa.  So don't expect a stocking stuffer from me this Christmas.

"I believe...."  Well, I guess it's nice to know you believe in something.

Don't remember saying or even implying Liberals don't care for their children or mates.  Quote please.

Considering all these spammed replies you did are "moot", I doubt it helped anyone reading them.

What type of point are you trying to make?

Looks like it's try to make a point in hysterics of how not to debate.   Nothing but spammed replies as you can see that have nothing to do with anything actually said.

As a known (maybe not here yet) person who can play the Devils advocate on just about any topic, I'm surprised you keep repeating this.  I think getting people to look in the mirror at their hypocrisy and flawed logical/critical thinking has noting to do with "trying" for knee jerk reactions .regardless if they're white, black, secular, religious, male, female, adult or child. If there is a knee jerk reaction, that is more of the natural reaction of someone coming to terms with reality than you (others) falsely thinking I'm goading you (others) on for it.

I could of just as easily throw out verse about how the Bible condones racism and/or sexism and have in the past (on Topix), just as well as said I don't believe it does. As seen in a few other topics on this section of the forum, there is a overwhelming liberal slant on everyone's comments. So if you (others) wrongly think I'm a "right wing, Christian entitled white male" it's only because it's a product of the environment of these forums. If this was a right leaning forum, I'd probably be called a liberal fanatic. I know, just imagine that one....right?

People who stop questioning the world are intellectually dead.  Those people are unable to cope outside their 'Plato's cave'.  They would rather keep watching the shadows on the walls, fearful of what they might see if they were able to look away.  Those types of people have threads removed, have uncontrolled emotional outbursts towards different views, as seen already here on this forum. It's quite sad to think these types of people fancy themselves as "intellectuals".

I suppose if everyone wants to bury their head in the sand, circle jerk each other off whilst patting each other on the back in their delusions, I could leave (don't worry, I'm not).  But I suppose this forum section would get pretty boring just being a reverberation of the status quo. Imagine me if you will, as the harbinger of the truth of reality. The slave of old, who whispered in the ears of triumphant roman generals that he was "only human", to keep him grounded in reality and humbled.

It's a public service, and someone has to do it. And I do it quite well.

You have been known and admitted yourself that you have tried to get me to become an emotionally enraged, I think you do this to lead the discussion away from when its been noted that you were wrong, which is more than you think. A truth you have spoken is yes you do this quite well but sometimes your perception of reality tends to be flavored with just a taste of narcissism, its ok I find it compelling enough

This the best you have given the evidence throughout the world where man has reigned with supremacy?
So what’s your excuse for having no knowledge of this fact, or were you never allowed to wearing anything else but blinders?

I don't like discussing politics really because I believe everyone has the right to choose as with their religion or lack of.
I'm a Pagan, female, Trumpet Republican, and I'm fine with that.

You can quote the bible all day long but I highly doubt it's the word of God, more like a man made script.
The past cannot be changed, what happened in ancient times is dust.

What I see going on in this country is division, and that is quite sad.

I was never an Obama fan but I never bashed him. I did my duty by voting for my choice.
I think all this bashing and investigating is a big waste of time and money.
Does anyone else see this?

Yes yes .... I am slightly off topic here but I have opinions, a voice, and a mind that works.
Carry on .....

Glad you liked it. lol
I’m fine with whatever suits other’s, so as long as they are not trying to shove their religious bull down everyone’s throats. And that’s where I draw the line.

And most political leaders are professional narcissistic liars. And we have one of those in our White House as we speak. However, if some people prefer to bury their heads in the sand when they should have a look at the evidence is of great importance to all of us that live in this nation.
We deserve better than this and need to change our political landscape that is only improving the wealth of the upperclassmen, or “good old boy network” of traitors instead of implementing good changes for all that live therein.

The past cannot be changed, but we can currently learn from our past to change our future for the better of all on this planet Earth we call home.

I am an Atheist who sees the rights of others as well as my own. However, I believe we have a far right political issue that seems to love dictators, theft or our treasury that’s been converted into corporate welfare, a huge military and industrial complex that needs to be ousted because this too is sending us into bankruptcy, as many can attest that it is a walloping 80% of our budget notwithstanding the perks and professional jobs given to the crooks in our government while “in service to we the people”, yet are only serving themselves at our expense.
And we need to put all of this to and end by having representation for all people. This is not just a nation of the privileged when we all live here.

So I strongly disagree with your belief because we need to investigate all of them to include but not limited to one Donald J. Trumpet.

Have a happy day and peace be with you 🙂
