On 911, that was a horrible loss with many still suffering, and for me to speculate on anything other than the Intel was missed, and terrorist accomplished what they set out to do would be minimizing the deaths of so manys. That day changed things forever for all of us.
You hit on one of the problems. Missed intelligence. Agencies not talking to each other. Homeland security was created and it seems like agencies are still not talking to each other.
I went up to ground zero after the collapse. Heart-wrenching.
