Andrea Shaw of Payette, Idaho has been indicted on two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of her 18-month-old twins, who were found dead in their shared bed in May 2025.
Just days after the tragedy the 23-year-old Shaw and her husband appeared on a podcast produced by Children’s Health Defense – the notorious anti-vaccine organization formerly led by current HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. – where she publicly suggested the twins got sick and died shortly after receiving routine vaccinations.
Now, after a year-long investigation, authorities say it was a cold-blooded murder and Shaw actually suffocated the children.
Even as she faces murder charges, Shaw’s attorney is still peddling the debunked vaccine narrative with zero evidence.
The criminal case is just beginning, and prosecutors will now have to prove their allegations in court.
But after a year of anti-vaccine activists using the twins' deaths to spread fear about routine childhood immunizations, the narrative has been turned on its head.
According to the indictment, the danger wasn't in a vaccine syringe.
It was in the children's own home.
