Reasonable suspicion not needed to investigate a crime.

Wrong!

There has to be at least reasonable suspicion a crime has been committed.

There is no point in any peace, because it never lasts and the same sh1t keeps happening that starts all the trouble.  Same sh1t, different day.

It's a religious conflict...always was and always will be.

Hate to see this but I'd been wondering if she hadn't already died.
Not heard much for long time.
They say they didn't mean for her to. You know she was 84, sick and without medicine.

A second ransom note regarding the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie indicated that she died, reports say.

The Guthrie family received two notes in the days after the 84-year-old mother of "Today" show host Savannah Guthrie was abducted from her Tucson-area home in the early morning hours of Feb. 1.

Both notes were sent to media outlets in Tucson and were determined as potentially credible by investigators. The first note demanded cryptocurrency for Nancy Guthrie's return. The second note said she had died shortly after her abduction, but did not include an apology or request for payment in exchange for her body, news reports say.

After the second note was sent, Savannah Guthrie posted an Instagram video featuring her brother, Camron, and sister, Annie, saying the family would “pay” for their mother's return.

“We received your message and we understand,” Savannah Guthrie said. “We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace.”

"...Conservative commentator Tucker Carlson is officially breaking with the Republican Party after spending decades as one of its most influential backers in the media.

On a recent episode of the Can't Be Censored podcast, Carlson accused the party of "treasonous" actions and putting the interests of corporate donors and Israel above those of American citizens, especially regarding the Iran war.

"I would not support the Republican Party," Carlson said. "There's no chance I would support the Republican Party. I'm not going to support the Democratic Party — I don't know what I'm going to do."

"I voted Republican my entire life," the podcaster continued. "I worked at Fox News, CNN, MSNBC. I've been a consistent defender for 35 years of the Republican Party, — I mean, a very consistent defender. There's no defending this because it's amoral and it's exactly the opposite of what a political party in a democracy is charged with doing, which is representing its own voters, its own citizens, its own nation. And they're not doing that."

Carlson added that his defection, as well as polling showing the Iran war is unpopular, should serve as a wake-up call for the Republican Party..."

I am glad they are finally seeing it but it is not new, this is exactly what we have been warning about and pointing out for years.

But yes, though there is no excuse for the harm they have done, it is good that they are breaking the cult programing.

Trump says pictures will be shown in court at appropriate time
Ask yourself if he had pictures if they wouldn't be put out immediately

Sounds like hardened criminals.
Said to be 5. I don't know other 3. This doesn't list alleged 350 foot slash

"We’ve received only a handful of citations which we will review," Timothy Lauer, a spokesperson for Pirro's office, told USA TODAY on June 22.

Former Olympian denies vandalism after arrest
At least one person has spoken out about their arrest.

David Hearn, a former Olympic canoeist, told the the Washington Post he was arrested on June 19 and charged with misdemeanor destruction of government property. Hearn, 67, told the Post he reached into the Reflecting Pool and was able to "grab" the end of a "flapping piece," but didn't remove it.

"I didn’t vandalize anything," he told the outlet. "I didn’t destroy or break or peel anything. By the time I realized what was going on, I was being put in handcuffs."

Other than Hearn, it's unclear who else has been arrested or cited. A Reuters photographer captured a U.S. Park Police officer issuing a citation to a 17-year-old who allegedly took a piece of paint from the pool.

Yesterday a podcaster pledged to shave his head on a live feed if any of the kidnapped victims were convicted at trial.

What is more likely is, that many of trump's victims, they are going to win lawsuits for large dollar amounts.   I think that ever dime should come straight from trump's personal accounts.

There is no legit reason for doing this.

"...When West Virginia state workers believe they've been unfairly disciplined, denied a promotion or improperly fired, they can file a grievance and ask an independent agency to review the decision. The system is designed to give employees due process and a formal avenue to challenge management actions.

And for thousands of workers, that safeguard is vanishing.

Over the past two legislative sessions, lawmakers at Gov. Patrick Morrisey's request have eliminated civil service and grievance protections for more than 9,000 state employees across multiple agencies.

Labor advocates say the changes weaken employee safeguards, opening the door to unjust firings and making it harder for state agencies to recruit and retain workers.

The overhaul began last year when lawmakers approved bills removing civil service protections for workers in the departments of Commerce, Administration and Tourism.

This year, lawmakers expanded the changes to employees in agencies that once made up the Department of Health and Human Resources, including the Department of Human Services.

Workers hired before the changes took effect can keep their protections if they remain in their current jobs. But employees who transfer to new positions or accept promotions lose those protections, while new hires will not receive them at all..."

Yeah, ol Elmo best just leave that one alone.
When he loses, that will open the door for millions of lawsuits, huge lawyer bills and awards. He will be surprised how fast a trillion dollars can vanish.

I do too. I think life is great despite all the profound unhappiness that pervades this board...
Yep, the way I look at it is I can only control what happens in our lives. We can vote for who we think will do a good job but 98% of the time, the people we vote for fail us on that aspect.

Yup.  I won't have him too much longer.
Sorry to hear that. We have had one dog live to be 17.5 years old,  my first Jack Russell. He was our kid before we adopted our kids. Our last 3 dogs lived to be 13, 14 and 16. I found my horse from 30 years ago, she is still alive and 34. I hated to get rid of her but life got in the way but the lady who has her has said I can come see her. I told the lady that I have absolutely no intentions of taking her away from her. One, I don't have a place for her and two, at her age, a move would be detrimental on the horse.

She was dead 3 days after she was kidnapped. Her medical alert that she had or pacemaker had quit working by then.
