I showed the kids a video of a satellite that we built (for one of the Programs I work on) - it launched from Vandenberg earlier this week. It shows the satellites being deployed - cool stuff. The 4 year old told me that's so people can see your face on their cell phones. I looked at him and I said you're right - wondering how he could possibly know this. Turns out they watch this show called CrunchLabs with Mark Roper who was a NASA Aerospace Engineer and he designed a satellite that does exactly that! Here I thought I was all cool and that! Nope! The 4 year old had it all figured out!
