You basically get college credit for political indoctrination and brainwashing.  I don't think either political party should be pushing that sh1t in schools.

I have always kinda been an independent.  I liked Bill Clinton when I was a kid and my whole family relentlessly picked on me for years.  I also voted for Obama the first time.  I also don't vote for Trump this last time.

I am more environmentalist than republicans are and always have been.  I am a fiscal conservative, but republicans seem to just want to give tax breaks to people who already should be more than happy with what money they have, as we rack up the national debt and it consumes more and more of a percentage of our entire federal budget, as they seek to cut funding for poor people, and all the problems that causes in society, cause what happens in a lot of homes and how kids are raised, doesn't stay at home.  It affects all of society.  Trust me, growing up near Chicago, you see it.  It's probably one of the most segregated cities in America.  The whole southside is awful.  You can say, they deserve it and make it that way but what about kids? Where you are born is a random lottery.  In a lot of instances it just perpetuates the cycle.  Even if your parents are POSs, doesn't mean we shouldn't look to see what works best around the world when it comes to this and consider different polices that work better and/or cost less.  There are kinds of countries we can look to and compare to our system and try to determine what works best and doesn't.  We don't even have to reinvent the wheel to have a more cost effective and/or better system.  We won't even do that because even if something is better people are just so brainwashed in favor of one party or the other.

It would be one thing if we didn't have the money.

Even the inefficiencies of our healthcare system that Pozi and discussed bother me.  It's not efficient and we get worse results.  No fiscal conservative would support that.  Other countries do it way cheaper and also better than us.

There are people on both sides who are so behave like this.

We really need more than 2 political parties.  They both lie to you when it's convenient and many people swallow their lies.

Now my dad is not even a Republican anymore.  He was his whole life until Trump, lol.

It's like a guest on the Jerry springer show.  He is the President of the United States.  He always should show some class, especially if it's gonna make its way into public.  Always.  Like Obama did.

The whole thing is odd.  It's eff'd up and unamerican that no one has any clue if one the most power politicians in our country is alive or conscious or what his heath status is at all.  That's like some sh1t I'd expect to see in a North  Korea.

I don't like republicans views on school funding.  You gotta invest in the future and it's not fair that some kids to go awful schools on the south side while my kids got to go the school they went to.  It's all random, and if you are born in that sort of environment, you are much more likely to to stay in that environment than someone who was more fortunate to not be born in that environment.  Republicans just say too effing bad.

Again, let's look to see what works best in other countries.  The whole world is a laboratory or experiment.  We can learn from it, but we won't.  We wouldn't want to do anything that might work better if republicans can call it "socialism" and 40 percent of the country will eat it up.

School voucher system here in Florida. Less fortunate can access private schools.  You must be thinking of democrats who are against school choice.  ;)

School voucher system here in Florida. Less fortunate can access private schools.  You must be thinking of democrats who are against school choice.  ;)

"Vouchers pull tax dollars out of the public school system. Public schools still have to pay for buildings and buses even if they lose students.  Recent data shows many vouchers go to wealthy families who already send their kids to private schools [and already have plenty of money.]  Average private school tuition is often over $12,000 per year. Vouchers do not cover the whole cost, so low-income families still cannot afford it."

Not to mention, not a lot of people have access to a ton of private schools near to them, such that they can pick and choose among a plethora of private and public schools that aren't far away from their home.  Not everyone wants to send their kids to a boarding school, like my black sheep bro, who lived at military school.

How about we just make our public schools better.  It's not like all these private schools are gonna compete to get better and better so they have an endless growth in student population too.  A lot of parents don't even want to send their kids far away from home and a lot of areas only have so many student who live nearby too.  Who the eff wants to be a principal of a high school school with 10,000 high schoolers?  You aren't gonna make that much more money for it compared to a principal at a school with 1200 students and neither are the teachers at that school.  It's not capitalism, where business compete to be more and more efficient and make better products, cause it makes them more cash, nor should education be.

If it's not a boarding school who has to drive your kid to this private school too?  Public school buses don't take kids to private schools and back home.  It's not even realistic for a lot of working class people.  Average private school cost 6k more a year even with your Florida vouchers.  How many average folks can afford that, especially if they have multiple kids, while also schlepping to and from school?  How do you do that if both parents work full time and the kids can't drive?

It's another scam rich people have pulled over on schmucks.

France 2, Morocco 0

France remained perfect on the tournament and is the only team to win all six of its matches without needing extra time after a 2-0 win over Morocco.

Kylian Mbappé continued his torrid streak with another performance that included a goal — and a rare missed penalty kick. Mbappé scored early in the second half to retake the lead over Lionel Messi in the Golden Boot race (both players have eight goals now, but Mbappé has more assists), and Ousmane Dembélé delivered a dagger moments later. It’s the third straight World Cup semifinal for Les Bleus.

Our private schools here basically run on the same school schedule as the public one has. The onky difference is they may have a few days different due to religious holidays.

Got my run in.  Ran 5 min longer.  I can probably add 5 minutes everytime I run for a while.  If you do that, before you know it, you go from running 25 minutes in a session, to running 45 min, to running 75 min.

No drinking and just eating about 1500 calories for dinner a day.  Taking my vitamins.  I am gonna look to do another half marathon in a few months.  If you can run 6 miles in session, you can do a half marathon.
