France remained perfect on the tournament and is the only team to win all six of its matches without needing extra time after a 2-0 win over Morocco.
Kylian Mbappé continued his torrid streak with another performance that included a goal — and a rare missed penalty kick. Mbappé scored early in the second half to retake the lead over Lionel Messi in the Golden Boot race (both players have eight goals now, but Mbappé has more assists), and Ousmane Dembélé delivered a dagger moments later. It’s the third straight World Cup semifinal for Les Bleus.
