Everytime I get close to the coyote he runs away. He could never get hostile, It's fact that they don't bother people. Maybe pets if they are hungry enough, but as this video shows, this coyote is friends with this cat. So I don't believe they would attack a pet either. Spring is their mating season now, and the coyotes are about more now to feed their young. Have no fear of them.

You should have a healthy respect of all wild animals. Sorry but I don't trust coyotes nor do I want to like them. Coydogs are another one I don't like. We had to shoot them on the farm for killing calves and once an animal gets the taste of blood in it they will continue to kill. Oh and you are wrong about them attacking pets, they will. Have seen them attack cats, dogs and even go after some people so that is not a true statement that they they won't attack pets or people. It is true they are scared of people but they have been known to attack.

If they feel cornered, then they will attack.
And some even do so without provocation, or when provoked.

Well that's just their defense system, just like any animal or human. Yes don't try to pet them, they may feel cornered.

Well like anything that gets hungry enough, they will attack for food. This is called weeding out the weak in the wild.

Yeah I find Reddet, well the threads I was on were very, cant think of the word. Well they docked your points if you didn't agree with them, leaving you unable to go onto other threads. That sounds like Communism, no free thinking allowed on some threads.
