Everything is enabled, Cyg.
I had a recent update take place for Windows 10 during the past few days, and that is the only change that has ever been done to this computer since first registering here..
Before this update, I had no problems that I recall..
Hmmm If that's the case, the last resort would be to delete your account and register again to see if that works and possibly overrides any changes Windows 10 might have made. However, I can't understand why anything here would have been changed with a Windows update. That makes no sense.

Was your Adblock on when you joined? Could you possibly try turning it off to see if it works? I'm not sure if that's the problem or not. I don't understand why the option section isn't available to you. Do you by any chance have Attachments and other options with a + mark in front of it?

Like this + Attachments and other options If you do, click on the + mark and see what you get.
Yes, AdBlock was on when I first registered here, and remains on.
I don't have that attachment option available from that of which you speak of.
Should I have that option with Windows 10?

Should I just toss this computer in the garbage, Icno?
Are there any other Window 10 users out there that are experiencing what I have?

So not to lose post count it would be best to make another account and see if the problem is still there.
She could then delete the new account.

The only other thing I've done is updated CCleaner and then cleared my system - (since, I had to update that version because of the Windows 10 update which stated that my current version of CCleaner would no longer operate on this system)
Could that have caused any problems, Pete?

I use my iPad and honestly haven't logged onto my laptop in over a year. However, I don't think I'd toss a computer for the sake of a few emoticons.  :o LOL

Let's go ahead and try what Pete said and create another account to see if it works. I've looked at your account again and for all means and purposes, everything should be working.

I want those damn emotions, Icno.
I know it sounds childish and funny, but I want to use THEM! when posting.
If I was to re-register again, I can't use my original name - so that is a no go.
Plus, it took me 3 friggin' days to reach my 500 Post.

I'm going to disable both my AdBlock program & CCleaner first to see what happens.

Did you read my post? Make a sock to see if they work leaving your main account intact.
Then you can delete the new account.

I understand completely and I apologize for offending you. I was trying to use a bit of humor to lighten the frustration I know you're feeling.

I'm just gonna bow out now and let you and Pete try to figure it out.

Hi Islandgirl. I was reading about  the problems you were having, so I hit the quote button to walk myself through what you were experiencing. I didn't mean to reply to you unless I found something useful.

Then it is most likely your updates from Microsoft has somehow disabled the emojis on sites like this one.
I’m so sorry about this..

Perhaps you can download some emojis? That would probably straighten the issue, though I’m not really sure.
