We would have dirt clod and corn cob fights, also rotten tomatoes. I grew up on a 49 acre farm, helped with tobacco, hay, had a horse to ride and a lake to fish out of. We weren't rich as my father was a teacher and they didn't get paid near what they make now but we never knew we weren't poor either.
We had/have about 150 acres but mostly hillside so we had plenty of play room.
