We’ve all heard the stories over the years about those “touchy-feely” folks that get offended over just about anything.

Today we’re becoming more and more of a nation that takes offense to something and by golly they’ll do everything in their power to beat you over the head with it until you finally give in and see it their way.

The term “United States of the Offended” was coined by Robert D. Raiford, a self-proclaimed curmudgeon-at-large on the John Boy and Billy Show – a Charlotte based radio program heard weekday mornings at stations all over the South. As Mr. Raiford puts it, “Liberals go out of their way looking for something to offend them, and get their panties in a knot when they find it.”

It's OK, Pete. We all have our faults.

Word in the wind is, I'm a far right 'nut-job' to be avoided at all costs.

Although, I find way too many succumb to reasoning with emotions for their political and religious views, there is nothing wrong with a little political debate, banter and roasts - left or right.

By the way, I love what you(?) did with the place. Culturally appropriating the Irish, St. Patrick's Day, for everyone here to enjoy. A tradition the whole family can delight in about Christians usurping the indigenous people's religion and culture of Ireland.  It's great to see all the virtue signalers, atheists and 'progressives' here celebrate a holiday now and then that reinforces white supremacy, colonialism and Christianity.  Wouldn't you agree?

Amen Pete. If you’re a “little to the left” of liberal, then I’m a lot to the left of liberal.  I didn’t used to be, but then people elected Donald Christ and began worshiping him like brain dead zombies and I realized how messed up we’ve become, so in the interest of sanity, I’ve moved as far left as one can possibly be.
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me. ~~Hunter S. Thompson

Is he still alive? He was the judge in the movie Billy Bathgate.
I see he died in 2017

He played a judge on Matlock as well..

I was unaware of his death but knew he quit the JB&B show due to failing health about four or five years back. I liked the guy as well..

BTW Raiford was a liberal on a mostly conservative comedy radio show all those years, he did not get many complaints either

It only seems like you are.

It's because people on the left in here are in a constant state of hysteria blabbering on and on about conspiracies with zero proof.
We already see them moving the goalposts from "the Mueller report will be proof of Russian collusion" to "just because Mueller doesn't recommend any indictments, doesn't mean there isn't collusion", to "Trump admin is somehow white washing the report". Somehow, they all know this is "true" without even reading the report.

Sit back, enjoy, and watch the screaming-at-the-sky meltdown ensue.

Your a good "window-licker"  too....do you prefer top-down or bottom-up licking?  Meeoow....

Licking, appears to be essential...here, any thoughts? My tongue a little...scratchy, sometimes...
