Sounds nice. We have a bottle of elderberry wine that a friend of son's made. I have never had elderberry wine so wouldn't have a clue what it taste like. I like sweet wines the few times I have a glass. Dry is just nasty tasting to me but that is just me.
It was very good in fact...It surprised us...Nice ,smooth and not overly sweet with a hint of something I can only equate to the delicate fragrance of a white rose perhaps with a good currant overtone....I like sweet as well as dry wines but I drink it very seldom...

I don't want the sweet wine to be so sugary sweet that it makes you cringe. I told a friend of mine, actually a neighbor that one afternoon when she is off work and it is pretty outside we will open the bottle of elderberry and celebrate her back yard. She has turned it into an oasis and it looks beautiful.

She has worked hard on making  it look nice. It is her new hobby especially after she had to put her mom in a memory care home. That had to have been hard for her to do that.

I think that would be hard for most to do....That kind of project would keep her mind off her worries about such.......stuff like that never goes away... I have to stop now  because i am getting emotional...bbl

I know it was hard for us to put my dad in a nursing home. People criticized me for not moving him in with us but why would I uproot my father and move him 2 hours away from his church family, his second wife and other friends,plus we had a very active house hold at that time and that would have disrupted his routine. It was hard to see him there but it was what was best for all.

 ::)  Dumbarse!

"Foreign investors own about 40 million acres of U.S. agricultural land, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Of that, Chinese investors own 383,935 acres, or about 1% of foreign-held acres.

A 1978 law requires foreign investors “to disclose their holdings and transactions to USDA directly or to the Farm Service Agency county office where the land is located,” according to the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service.

the USDA said that Chinese investors — in part or in whole — held 383,935 acres, or 0.9%, of all U.S. foreign-held agricultural land

Canadian investors own the largest amount of reported foreign-held agricultural and non-agricultural land, with 31 percent, or 12.8 million acres"

For example, a Chinese company bought farmland in 2021 for acorn-milling facility near an Air Force base in Grand Forks, N.D. Another piece of land in Michigan purchased in 2023 by a Chinese company is situated near the nation's largest National Guard training facility in Grayling.

We get and provide aid to a lot of countries that we don't need to do so.

Foreign aid is a heavy tax on all American citizens who are already overtaxed....We should never trade our standard of living to elevate undeserving countries that are our enemies or hate us....Our standard of living nationally bould be much better if we just stopped the aid altogether...
