I guess he didn't strike a Syrian airbase then.

He only notified Congress. Didn't need their approval.

You are talking about a different situation, Teabag. Syria is not Iran...

Seriously? He's commander in chief of the military.
Doesn't mean he knows everything that goes on in the military and it is more of just a title than it does to him knowing what happens. He can't do anything without congressional approval and he doesn't have a clue where to put things and how they work. Lol

And isn't that a completely terrifying thought.

In 20 or 30 years we will find out that trump never had the actual nuke codes.

How far did Clinton and Bush get when it came to government secrecy?
They can’t and won’t know everything that’s going on especially when it comes to our government conducting secret experiments on the general public to JFK and the like? How far did they get, eh?
_______

And wasn’t it during the Bush administration that not even the media can no longer talk about government weather experiments?
Why is that? Why did Shrub have something to do with hiding the truth when it came to his clan wanting to wage a war on his own US citizenry through weather experiments to do several things?

One, his Klan wants a nation subservient to their will and not by the people.

Two, he wanted to wage war on the people in the states that did not agree with his bs.

Three, he and his ilk wanted to say that the reality of Global Warming was all made up and he did this also through those big corporations he had chosen to be in his administration, and through FAKE NEWS OUTLETS that they paid for.

Four, who do you think was really responsible for 9/11/01?

Five, his father wanted more control over the government to thus make up the story that there was a wall between the FBI, CIA and our Military when in fact his father wanted more control over them to totally answer to the president instead of the congress and citizenry that actually pay for it.

Six, he was attacking anyone that was against his administration by whatever means possible. And this included anyone in the government, but I guess it’s always okay for he and his ilk to be as corrupt as they want, but don’t anyone else lie, right? Right.

And, his family of criminals wants the US to be a Theocracy, but they too are to be submissive to the state.

That’s why we have just another joke in office that the republicans want him to walk at all costs.
Why is that?

I certainly hope not! 😂

The guy is a complete and utter lunatic and disgrace to our nation that the republicans gave our Oval Office to.
They are just as corrupt as he is and I have no doubt in my mind that they too are in love with Putin and his money.
Treacherous traitors is all they are. Period.

The same presidential power exists. He has 48 hrs. to notify Congress and 60 days to complete whatever action he is taking before he needs congressional approval to continue. I didn't say I agreed with it. These things shouldn't get started without a congressional declaration.

Just so you know, I'm happy Trump called off the strike. I thought we were going to have another Gulf of Tonkin moment. Bolton being the new McNamara. Cooler heads prevailed. That's a good thing.

Tell me, why wasn't everyone all upset when Obama involved the American military in Lybia without Congressional approval?

Seth was the one that destroyed Twitler in 2011 at the Press Dinner with him in person , not Obama...

Not that one. The one before Trump decided to run.

Scroll down to Obama took Trump to task.

If it feels like the White House Correspondents’ Dinner has been a drag for the last few years, well … it has.

How do you know this? The higher ups may not like him.

When you think about it. The troops can elect the higher-ups' commander. Ironic.

It was all recorded, so I take it you’re a Shrub fan that believed everything Bush said?
Thanks for the confirmation. 😁

Your communist commander certainly loves dictators, why is that?

If the meeting were to transpire, it would be the first time a U.S. and North Korean leader have met in the DMZ.
