I'm not remembering any of those screen names, perhaps I was on different threads.

I began posting on the Orlando Sentinel topix in 2006 when nearly every article allowed for a reply. The Sentinel reporters like all Tribune Co reporters hated that arrangement.

I posted under the names of Dutch Bag and Upbeat back then. During the Casey Anthony saga I posted as Inspector Clues So on several of those threads (there were dozens). During George Zimmerman I used remember.

On the huge Obama thread I began in about 2010 and went by Realtime putting up at least 50,000 pro Obama posts. There were some crazies on that thread and during the run up to the 2016 elections a few Russian bots. I was actually making a reply on that thread when topix went dead.

Many complained about the Obama thread, not me, that place made me smarter by encouraging looking further, cross checking and so on.

I don't miss topix at all, and I'm probably less perturbed  by ardent Trump supporters (FOX brains) since it went away.
