I’m sorry to hear this, FS, and hope that the family will be well into the future.

I miss my best friend in the world who died of cancer at the age of 22. Her and her boyfriend were really sweet friends that I will always cherish for the rest of my existence.

And may you be well into your future.

I found out some time later that Mike Lane was actually a guy named Mike Lane.  I got a message from the sister of his very much alive wife at one point.  She said he was crazy and a habitual liar.
