I don't think anyone knew just who the real person was underneath all that banter. He always said that he was this fit young man, the best thing since sliced bread, but will anyone even know. But he did come across as being very intellectual, even though a bit nutty.

Indeed he is an intellectual, but not a good poet, nor does he really know people in general.
Nor was he genuine.

I think he is the contrast of that borrowed picture of a young man in college..cause he’s more likely a bitter old man trying to be someone he is not.
I feel sorry for him.....but more so for anyone that tries to be his friend.
