I found out some time later that Mike Lane was actually a guy named Mike Lane. I got a message from the sister of his very much alive wife at one point. She said he was crazy and a habitual liar.
Mike "died", "went to prison", "Florida in his vette", or what ever happened to him about the time I started posting on Topix. I vaguely remember some of his posts. They were very entertaining to say the least. Good stuff.

Squatch.
I was at the stoplight on N.Bridge out by 'Whits' yogurt last week and seen a pickup truck with a "Sasquatch" emblem on it with "Have you seen him?" written above it. I wondered if it was the "Squatch" poster who always posted about Squatch down at the paper mill lagoon with his pine needle herbal tea.
