Tonight I shall celebrate another day of living. Eff politics.

1 Sugar Cube
2 drops Angostura bitters
3/4 oz cognac
1/2 cup Champagne
A squeeze of orange and zest twist

Place sugar cube in a chilled flute.
Sprinkle in the bitters and let it
soak into the sugar for about 1 minute.

Pour in chilled cognac and
swirl the glass to combine.

Top off with Champagne.
Add the orange juice and
Zest twist for garnish.
Serve and say, “Cheers!”
