Democratic socialists struck another blow against the Democratic establishment on Tuesday in Colorado.,  29-year-old Melat Kiros  defeats incumbent Rep. Diana DeGette, who was first elected before Kiros was born, in a primary.

Kiros was the third progressive challenger to defeat a sitting House member in eight days, after two more won last week in New York.

She cast DeGette, a longtime progressive who served as an impeachment manager against President Donald Trump, as a corporate-backed incumbent who was out of step with her constituents, and called for a new era of progressive leadership in Congress.

Got to 95 as a high here. Temps in the 90’s is rough in mountainous territories..

No, you foolishly paid for other people's retirement with all the money that they took out of your paycheck for social security.  That's how the program is structured.  The money current payees contribute is used to pay the benefits to current benefit recipients.

You should have demanded that the government let you fund your own damn retirement when you were working, instead of happily paying for other people's retirement with your money.

I am not as stupid as you.  So, go fund your own damn retirement!!! 😊  Turnabout is fair play.

I'd rather take what the gov takes out for SS and invest it in my 401k.
