The death toll in Lebanon topped 4,100 yesterday, the country’s health ministry reported, even as the Israeli government ordered its military to restrict offensive actions in the country.
At least 4,106 have been killed in Israeli strikes against the Iran-backed proxy group Hezbollah, the ministry said, including 135 healthcare workers. Over 12,000 more Lebanese have been injured in the fighting, primarily in the country’s southern regions.
