Vance en route to Switzerland for Iran talks

Vice President JD Vance was en route to Switzerland on Saturday, June 20, for talks with Iranian representatives on Sunday, according to a report from Reuters.

Vance told reporters Saturday that he hoped to "make progress on the nuclear issue" and "the Lebanon ceasefire issue."

"Despite the headlines, things are actually getting better there (in Lebanon), and things are slowing down a little bit," Vance said. "It's going to be something we're just going to have to continuously manage to ensure that, you know, Israel and Lebanon are both safe and secure."

Iranian media reported that Iran's delegation had arrived in Switzerland on Saturday, Reuters said.

I didn't know Vance went to Switzerland today.

My good friend's folks moved down south and left my friend there alone for a whole summer ... nice neighborhood ... last name Umhoefer.  We had parties most every weekend that summer.  We didn't let his house get trashed, too.  My bros almost beat the sh1t out of guys who wanted to do that.  I was 13 or 14.
