That guarantees the reps hold the house next year..........

Forget the House. You're not going to gerrymander enough seats to make up for blue wave.

The Senate is in play now.
When Speaker Jeffries take the gavel the Trump presidency as we know it ends.

Has to be a bad night for Trump.
Expect a social media tweet storm.

A complete total rejection of Trump 2.0
Of a 37% approval rating president
Of rapid response military forces in 50 states
Of a want to be dictator.
Of shutdown and saying when over won't pay furloughed workers
Of cutting off food stamp benefits
Of grocery prices that didn't come down.
Of millions losing health insurance
Of ending expanded ACA subsidies causing costs to double. My cost almost tripled.
Of Medicaid cuts and rural hospitals and clinics that won't survive.
Many of cuts in so called Big Beautiful Bill to take effect after midterm elections-no accident
Of masked ICE agents terrorizing immigrants without due legal process, of violent arrests, zip tying kids, arrests without warrants, kidnapping and throwing in unmarked vehicles basically
Of Sen. Padilla being handcuffed and arrested for doing his job
I could go on but you get the point
Black and brown voters returning home

'Disturbing', 'disgusting', 'unconstitutional': Judge says of Chicago ICE facility
U.S. District Judge Robert W. Gettleman heard from witnesses staying at an ICE facility amid President Trump’s Operation Midway Blitz. Detainees brought a lawsuit over conditions at the site.

A federal judge reviewing conditions at an immigration enforcement in the suburbs called detainees' accounts of the facility "disturbing," "disgusting" and "unconstitutional."

U.S. District Judge Robert W. Gettleman’s Nov. 4 review of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in the suburb of Broadview, Illinois, comes nearly two months into President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement crackdown known as Operation Midway Blitz. Gettleman is examining conditions in response to a lawsuit brought by detainees who said they were not allowed to contact attorneys, were coerced into signing deportation papers and were left in squalid conditions.

The facility lies at the heart of the blitz operation. Immigration authorities process detainees at the site before moving them out of Illinois. Accounts of conditions inside have spurred frequent protests.

"It’s a disturbing record," Gettleman said near the close of around six hours of testimony. "People sleeping shoulder to shoulder, next to overflowing toilets and human waste, that’s unacceptable."

I'd heard just a peep about that, but all the national news is talking about is these elections I didn't get to vote in.
Friend of mine son in law saw the wreck from the interstate.

It was sad the number of people who actually thought Kentucky had an election yesterday. It shows people do not pay attention to what is going on in some sense.

Night time temperatures here will be dropping into the 30s next Sunday and they won't be warming back up until spring. It's 33° right now.

ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK... Coming soon to you! 😆 Police departments around the country are trolling NYPD about employment opportunities where the mayor is not a jew hating communist.  NYC's mom and pop stores which successfully kept Walmart out... Well... Let's see how they compete against stores run by the city... Hey if it works I'm all for it... Call this a litmus test... Mark J. is waiting in the wings with his fingers crossed...👍

Talking to my friend who's been married 60 years. I said "I see your wife has breakfast ready for you everyday must be nice."  He said "she doesn't make me breakfast everyday because I'm hungry... Every time that woman cooks for me it's her way of saying she loves me... And I love her for it.."

There's a lot of tragedy in this world can't be any other way. Watching someone you have been married to for 60 years slowly die it's not a good thing and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. So I watch my friend as he watches his wife slowly pass. Pain in his soul is hard to miss you can see it in his eyes. Thing about cancer is it takes people who are healthy contributing members.... And just takes them away wipes them out.... Last year at this time that 80-year-old woman was dragging 90 lb branches to the burn pile... Now she can barely move... I wonder what this is all about sometimes.... I read once that life is just a series of tragedy interspersed with a few laughs here and there...I broke in 1997... Lost people that could not be replaced... After that last person died that I loved so much... Within a week I'd quit my job of 20 years... And soon after that I was homeless... Looking back on it I don't think I even cared that much that I was homeless.... Dumpster diving.... I was like kind of numb.... Things are kind of jumbled up after that.... I've been blessed to wind up where I'm at... But life has taught me this one important fact... Everything is temporary... When you have a thing and you love a thing you just have to keep loving it and keep appreciating it... Because it's going to go away... That's just how it is... I guess the only solace we can take from that is that one day we go away too...
