Kind of funny I guess.

Why are polls closed in Kentucky? Because there is no election today.
Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams took to social media Tuesday to assure concerned voters in his state they weren't missing anything, despite their closed polling places.

Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams said his office received complaints about closed polls.

He assured voters on social media there were no candidates or issues to vote on.

A quirk in Kentucky law means voters in the state skip elections once every four years.

I was just posting on my board they were playing first regular season game
I saw on Yahoo Sports 13-7 and under 7 minutes left in half Kentucky ahead.
Place to watch live I didn't click.
Is on anywhere? Not  on SEC Network or ESPN channels.
What happened to Noah?

In a state trending Democratic in federal elections and hurt by government shutdown hurting a lot of government workers and DOGE cuts
Current governor is Youngkin of course is a Republican but you can serve two non-consecutive 4 year terms so he couldn't run for re election

For Governor with 21% counted

Democrat Spanberger has a good early lead or Earle-Sears

Spanberger 57.9%

Earle-Sears 41.9%

I think polls close at 9.

Just closed in New Jersey
Should start hearing from them.
California usually closes at 11 so I reckon is today too.

Their Constitution in Virginia says you can't serve consecutive term
Younkin elected in 2021

He could in theory run 4 years from now but speculation may be making presidential bid

There is only three or four counties in NJ that are strong for republicans.
