I don't know how far back you've read, but we've be discussing the possibility of extraterrestrial visitation. As someone who actually works in the aerospace industry, what are your thoughts on the subject?
I don't believe that we have been visited. This is a piece of Neil deGrasse Tyson's take -
Tyson often points out several reasons why he remains highly skeptical of UFO/UAP sightings and alien visitation claims:

Logic: He notes that simply because something in the sky is "unidentified" does not automatically mean it is a visiting alien.
