I upset a fellow yesterday by telling him that if you are "white" you are most likely a mutt. All the migrations, invasions, trade.... that Europe had over the centuries guarantees it.
The myth of a pure white race is a joke.
If you go back far enough, we all are. Humans have been around for 100s of thousands of years. People probably moved all over the empire during Roman times too.
Even cultures change. Someone posted on Reddit why are midwesterns so polite compared to Germans who live in Germany, despite being the midwestern Midwest having a lot of German heritage.
Someone said, most of Germans came here in the 1800s. Even Germans living in Germany today don't have the same culture as Germans who lived in Germany in the 1800s.
