I watched a segment of a video of Dana White discussing this:

"High-level wrestlers are increasingly choosing coaching over MMA because coaching positions and Regional Training Centers (RTCs) now offer steady, six-figure salaries. Many elite wrestlers feel that the low pay, grueling training camps, and health risks in MMA aren't worth the financial squeeze compared to stable academic or club coaching careers."

Why go to the to ufc and suffer potential injuries?  It's not like boxing where you suffer brain damage beating each other's brains in, but that life is grueling.  Even going into high school wrestling, it was night and day to junior high.  Same for football, but wrestling practice made football look easy.
The days go by slow, but the years go by fast.
