We can't leave Skeeter at home. He's over 15 and has accidents. The boys took him out before we left. They did. Then we got in truck and stopped a gas station right by my house and it smelled like someone farted right before we got there. About 30 min later he had diarrhea all over my truck. We had to stop at a Walmart and he had to have a bath as soon as we arrived at my folk's. Had to carpet clean my truck. Happy Father's Day.
So sorry to hear about Skeeter. It is hard when pets get older.
