I have never seen it like that before. There are two marinas and two public launches and my son said when you are leaving the one marina, the police have road side stops.
Makes me like my stretch river all the more. We very seldom have any law enforcement presence outside of holidays and very little then. Even game wardens are scarce.
If I am just going down to the beach to toss a line for a little bit, I don't even bother to take my fishing license. I will if I am taking a bunch of gear but if I am toting just a rod and a beer I don't bother as even if they come by, I have a 2+ mile view in both directions and can scoot up the bank if I need too.
