This is the one I am interested in, what exactly does that mean?   The Gulf states?

"The US will withdraw it's troops from the areas around Iran"

A state is a country, a country is a state.

Woken at 6:30 am by a phone call about the tornado watch   it's bad in the area but not where I am.  Not right now anyway.

The line of storms has about blown through now. As often happens, the rough parts went north and south of me
It is thundering here and fixing to start raining. It was humid earlier and temperature has dropped so it is cooler.

Read Paragraph 1 again. Clearly to me says By signing this MOU the parties agree to immediate and permanent. From now on not to initiate war or military operations and refrain from threat or use of force. Last sentence says final deal will confirm so confirming what is now

The United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran and their allies in the current war, by signing this MOU, declare the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon, and undertake from now on not to initiate any war or any military operations against each other, and to refrain from the threat or use of force against each other, and ensuring the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Lebanon. The final deal will confirm the permanent termination of the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon, and other provisions of this paragraph.

If this is a final agreement, I don't see it lasting.  I was under the impression these are conditions yet to be finalized. Nothing is worth the paper it's written on until the senate approves it.

I didn't think it was a final deal. A memorandum of understanding isn't a peace deal.

Supreme Court rules for marijuana user charged under the same gun law as Hunter Biden
The justices cast a blow against a federal law that bars users of illegal drugs from possessing firearms.
The justices cast a blow against a federal law that bars users of illegal drugs from possessing firearms.
NBC News · nbcnews.com

Federal prosecutors brought the charges after the FBI found a handgun during a search of Hemani's home in 2022. The ruling authored by Justice Neil Gorsuch does not invalidate the law across the board, but it makes it harder for prosecutors to invoke it, especially as it relates to casual drug users.

Gorsuch wrote that the ruling is a “narrow one,” which does not address broader issues raised about banning drug addicts from possessing firearms.

The court rejected the federal government’s claim that anyone who uses marijuana is a danger to others, all based on the government’s own assessment, he added.

Obama Center opens invitation only event today and to public tomorrow on holiday
Stevie Wonder among stars to perform
Trump won't attend
--------
Instead of a traditional presidential library, the 19-acre Obama center, located on the city's South Side, features a soaring museum, a Chicago Public Library branch, an athletic center (complete with an NBA-regulation-size basketball court), a civic center, a playground, and a vegetable garden that's reminiscent of the one Michelle Obama's White House Kitchen Garden planted on the South Lawn.

The center, which took five years to build, aims to serve as a key neighborhood hub in Jackson Park along the south shore of Lake Michigan. It was funded through private donations from the Obama Foundation, with city and state money covering the surrounding infrastructure.

The invite-only opening of the $850 million Obama Presidential Center, honoring the nation's first Black president, comes the day before its doors open to the public on June 19, which is Juneteenth, a federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States, and is recognized by many as the nation’s second Independence Day.

Good AA shots in this one

The whole city is burning.  I hope the civilian death toll is really high, but it probably isn't.  That's the only way the stupid effs will learn to fear us more than their dictator.  There will also be another dictator after Putin, and another, and another, so on and so forth.  So, it's good policy to kill as many as we can to teach the stupid effs and their next dictators a lesson.  Being ruled over by dictators is all the effing losers know how to do ... that and scratch sh1t out of the ground to sell, which is all they offer the world.  Nothing from their brains, do they offer the world.  A whole entire country of over 100 million people that offers the world nothing, except the sh1t they can scratch out of the ground to sell. Many countries have shown them better ways to govern, rather than having a brutal dictatorship, such that the stupid effs just have to copy what others do and how they govern, but they can't.  They are too effing stupid to copy.

"Zelensky on retaliatory strikes: 'If Ukraine burns, Moscow will burn too'"

He should go further than Russia has gone.  As far as I am concerned Ukraine should have immunity to war crimes. They could blow up kindergartens and I wouldn't give a eff.  It will save us from the next generation of retarded Russians who will surely have a dictator rule over them.  If we take them out when they are young, it will be less soldiers for the next Russian dictator to use in wars.   There will be a next too.  It's all the effing tards know how to do, even when shown a better way that achieves much better results, for everyone.
The days go by slow, but the years go by fast.

"...Americans are facing record-high costs to cool their homes this summer as electricity prices climb and temperatures soar.

The average U.S. household will likely spend about $792 on electricity between June and September, up 10.5 percent from the same period last year, when it cost $717, according to new analysis from the National Energy Assistance Directors Association.

Since 2020, the average summer cooling costs have increased nearly 40 percent due to rising electricity prices and increasingly hot temperatures. Even adjusting for inflation, cooling costs are projected to be about 7 percent higher than they were six years ago..."
