That's quite a selection. I have seen alot of those myself. I prefer the old movies, some new are ok.
There are some really great movies old and new that I find really enjoyable. However, I find the older ones relied less on mind-numbing explosions, sexual exploitation and CGI than a good acted, well written story. I find M Night Shyamalan tries and recaptures some of this old fashion story telling to great effect in his movies. I absolutely loved the movie 'Lady in the Water' because of this, along with 'Signs' and 'Devil'.
