In the end, there was more good than bad on Topix. I had a lot of laughs and good times and met some fun and interesting people. I’m glad we have a place to reminisce. But let’s face it, the crazies are just more fun to talk about.

Some people may had issues, I am not one of them. I knew how to handle myself and knew not to bring personal issues into a forum that was not recommended and refused to take any crap. I enjoyed Topix myself and will talkabout it if I wish.

We do not ned to hold hands and sing Kumbaya for this place to succeed either. I would want everybody to be who they really are instead of being forced into being "shiny happy people" that will kill this place pretty quick.

Sounds like Kooks, she threatened to call the police on me after I said I shoot loons. Roflmao, I guess that caused her to have a guilty conscience because loons are birds and I told her to go ahead and call them on me. I know 4 out of 5 judges in this town, the police chief, the sheriff, police officers, deputies and lawyers in this town and worked with a lot of them. She shut up then. She also threatened to call my place of employment.  I said go ahead,  it is at my house since I am retired. Hahahahaha. She was batshyte crazy

You know what they say, folks..... "You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all the people all the time." I suppose I'm a different sort than some. It's always been my habit if I walked in a place and didn't particularly care for the atmosphere, I turned and walked back out. It's that simple. Far be it for me to criticize an establishment for not catering to my specific desires. If a television program comes on that I don't like, I change the channel. If I start reading a book and realize I'm not going to enjoy it, I put it down and read something else.

Why complain when it's so easy to simply find enjoyment elsewhere and leave those be that obviously enjoy something different than you? If I were to be blunt I would classify that behavior as rude and overbearing but I'm not rude enough to make those types of accusations regarding another.

Enjoy folks and reminisce away! I enjoy reading it, but that's just me.  ;)

Also I do mot see thia place as a new start but a continuation of Topix posters. We cannot deny things happened in the past and we should be able to talk about whatever we want to.
