This forum isn't a paying gig so for now I got to keep my day  job and get 7/8 hours
of sleep every night. At this point we're taking anybody who walks in the door and are glad to
have them. I can't assign people to post the night shift, hopefully we can get enought members
to where that won't be a problem. For now there's nothing I can do about.

Agreed Pete. People will posts when they can and want. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. You have done a great job on this forum.

My boy wouldn’t hurt anyone as long as he knows I’m good with them. Otherwise, he’ll rip them apart.

If he knows I like you then you’ll have no trouble with him and he will slowly begin to like you, but if anyone tries anything then he’s got my back.

He’s a sweetheart, but can be very mean when it comes to me or his property and this house and yard are his dwellings. He’s funny like that and even knows the property boundaries. lol

But get to know him and he’ll look after you too.

Our first Australian Shepherd was what they called a blue eyed blue merle. She was silver,  black, white and brown but the silver was more of a silver blue. She looked like a wolf.

Wait..... What? We aren't getting paid? You mean to tell me, you expect people to work and not get a paycheck? Are you kidding me? Are you secretly "the Donald"?

I know you've done plenty to encourage others to join us here. I'm not a member of any other boards so I can't solicit posters. I know most people do like and/or need to sleep. I'm sometimes up in the middle of the night but it's not by choice and like so many others, my day starts early in the morning.

On Topix, posters came from different time zones so it was often easy to see everything moving in what we here in the Eastern Time Zone consider the middle of the night. In addition, Topix had at least 100,000 registered posters and probably twice as many unregistered posters. We don't have that many. We aren't even close.

Hopefully, things will pick up as time goes on and we can get this place rocking at all hours. Until then, let's hope everyone can find their little niche where and when they feel most comfortable.
