The ear plugs definitely would have helped yesterday. I am going to buy a generator.

From what I’ve read I fear that Topix was a terrible place with far too much sock puppetry and grey boxes that promoted lots of dishonesty. So maybe it makes for a better place here? Idk.

I really can’t compare without the experience. But I do think that this place has a nice atmosphere, and with good people, comes good friends.

 Why do you think "this is actually better"?
Same bs every day, people putting personal information on topix and making snide comments about those of us who adopted children. Was told that we had adopted illegally, threats to have people's place of employment called, told that I was having affairs and I could go on and on.

I could handle it well. With that said we needed some style of change as it did get stale in many places.

No, Topix closed the doors and forced everyone out. I never left the place, nor did most of my friends.
