They were and they also would call my kids importde aliens because we adopted internationally, claimed we kidnapped them, that the adoptions weren't legal. Asked why I chose to adopt internationally instead of domestically even after telling them that at the time we chose to adopt that a birth mother could change her mind and that you could have had the child since birth and 6 years and 11 months later the birth nother could have that child back. It was freaking ignorant. We are grateful to their birth noms and I an grateful to all birth moms, not just my kids but all.
I can understand that kind of frustration. However, you do have a good family, as far as I can tell because it isn’t everyday that a good mother and father adopts someone else’s children.
