I've receive messages each time I earn a badge, but when I go to the settings button on each message, and hit delete, it doesn't delete the message. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes.
You have to go to your profile and check those settings, accordingly, to not receive such messages.
Once done, it will no longer clog up your email notifications.
I did it so long ago that I can't actually remember the actual steps involved in doing so.
But, they have such features available to all members to utilize while posting on TP forum.

I only have permissions set to notify me of any Administrator notices.
I'm certain that Prince, Icno or Pete may be able to help clarify each step in this process for you.

I'll go in and check those settings. These messages are showing right here in my account on the direct message feature, but  it could be all the same feature. Thanks IslandGurl for the help.

Hi there DD, I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're talking about but I'll try to help if I can. Are you wanting to delete your messages or the badges themselves?

I noticed something that was odd to me.
It said 7 guest are viewing and 1 was hidden .... what's that all about?

You have the same as the others, I just need to add you to the membergroup so your stars are green everywhere and you show in purple.
