Honestly, I haven’t looked at an electric bill in a long time. It comes directly out of my account and I don’t pay attention. I need to be more conscientious although I don’t know that there’s much I can do about it.
Our gas bill was higher than usual this month but I blame that on the cold snap and us running the gas fireplace.

LOL Dang it, I don’t look at the gas bill either. I really need to start paying better attention to where my money is going. I’m such a creature of habit. I allow myself so much spending money each month and that’s it. Everything else goes in the bank and I don’t pay attention. I don’t have a mortgage payment or a car payment so I really don’t have any large expenses. My highest bill is my cell phone bill but that’s because I have my oldest Grandson on my bill and have had for 12 years. Now I have my Granddaughter on it as well. My Grandson keeps telling me he’ll pay it himself but I keep him on mine and don’t complain. I suspect he’ll get married in the next couple of years and he can take over making his own payments then.

Son pays his own cell bill but he is no longer on ours. Daughter pays for her cell phone but not her plan. She is on our plan on that one.

I generate my own electricity, heat the ranch with wood, grow and shoot most of my food and drive less than 3000 miles per year...And that is enough...

Just like 15.2 million hunters in the US....
In 2020 there were 15.2 million hunters in the U.S. In relative numbers, the percentage of the U.S. population that hunts has been on a steady decline since at least 1960, when there were 14 million hunters, representing 7.7 percent of the total U.S. population of 180.7 million people.

It is not necessary for me to cut back on anything....to me it is just not important...My balances due never exceed my accounts received and they never have...
