Did anyone else drink hot lemonade at the holidays?
Nope but my grandfather would fix a hot toddy when we would have sore throats.  Lol

Happy Halloween all.
It brings back memories of hotdog roasts, bonfires, hay rides and popcorn balls.

I hated getting those black and orange peanut butter taffies as a child but now they're my favorite.

I remember my grandmother making it on her wood cook stove.

Yep and also spanked with a razor strap that was hand made by my grandfather.

The good ole days, when parents spanked their kids and kids didn't shoot up schools.

That whole self-esteem thing got way out of hand.

Last time my dad took a switch to me I just looked him in the eye while he beat me, he never did again.
I'm not saying I didn't deserve it.

You took a heartwarming conversation about childhood corporal punishment and made it uncomfortable.
