There're some interesting comments posted here. I think most people that are convicted into a particular belief are convinced that their religion is the right one. In some instances religion or the practice of a particular religion might be considered a cult. I enjoy my church and the fellowship among other believers. I can't find any fault in the belief system I've chosen to follow. I have grown enough in my faith to realize and understand that there's no benefit to argue regarding religion. I can find lots of things to argue about that don't involve my personal faith. I can shrug off the belittling comments, insults, and innuendos when they come my way and take no offense. I am strong enough in my faith to understand and accept that others feel differently than I. That's ok, they might be smarter than me, they might even be right. But, I've seen prayers answered although others might have simply seen coincidence. I have felt the peace that passes all understanding in times of deepest sorrow. I know I've been protected when trouble came my way. I believe in every word written in the pages of my vast collection of bibles. So, your religion might come from man and you are certainly free to put any title on it you choose. That's your choice. My choice after much research and heartfelt searching is good ole Southern Baptist but I accept others wherever they are. I'll not dispute your preference and I'll never argue that Southern Baptist is the "one true religion".
Amen! I have travelled a lot and living in different states & communities I had to choose a church in each move and often the choices were limited. I too have been a Southern Baptist and also a Missionary Baptist for a number of years. Also Methodist, Church of God, Pentecostal, Non Denominational, Charismatic. I have also attended and researched many other denomination churches.  I was raised Lutheran by Father, but I had a Mennonite Mother who had the biggest influence on me. As a 60-70's hippie I also traveled the road, hitch hiked homeless and never went to church... I just read my Bible and had church with me, myself, and God. I have tried it all.

Moral of story... over the years and in every case and each situation... I found God there.

It’s all polytheism and synthetic to its core.

...and illogical.
It’s totally illogical. It makes no sense because it constantly contradicts itself. And contradictions are no more than flat out lies and obfuscation.

Is there only one true religion?
No but there is only one creator.

Who created the creator?

Better yet, What......
Exactly!
That’s always been a question I’ve had.

Question: do you actually believe in a creator who created all things and can grant wishes, or would you rather say “I don’t know” instead of placing a nonexistent creature that has no substance?

Sure I do. A creator doesn't have to be a being. A creator also can be an event.....or a set of circumstances that come together in a particular way.
So you have no belief in the biblical god? Is this right?

I have a belief in a creator which is all inclusive. If someone else wants to refer to it as the biblical god, that is ok by me too.
I sense you trying to save yourself here. 🤣
I don’t include imaginations, but whatever floats your boat. 😂

What am I saving myself from? Don't you imagine that there is no god?
Nope, I base that all on the evidence provided to me on a day to day basis. But I know you imagine it since all you have is faith alone.

So be it. Again, what am I saving myself from?
No one is saving anyone of us when it will take humanity to save us from ourselves.

There isn’t much hope for humankind.

Does it matter anymore? You’ve shown me your heart and intentions, so what I say will never be enough .... never be - relevant.

Pleasant day to you

Sure it matters.  What is it that you are looking for? I really can't quite understand you sometimes.
But that is probably not important anyway...
Nor is yours important, as two can play that game of deflection.

What am I looking for? Ever try the truth? Being able to express things on how you really feel makes it known and can move the discussion forward when deflections will have the the opposite effect, like understanding?
Rig a bell?

But I know that’ll never happen, so see ya ✌️

There still is a creator and that can't be denied.
But does it have a conscious mind is the actual question.

When I was a kid, we were (supposedly) Catholic. But we never actually went to church or paid any attention to it. I did however go to a Catholic school for a couple of years when we lived in Detroit because...well, we lived in Detroit.   The sadistic lesbian nuns and queer priests actually told us that we weren't supposed to read the Bible. They said that they would read it and tell us what it said because we weren't qualified to interpret it properly... Bear in mind that was coming from a middle aged, unmarried man that took a vow of celibacy, wore a giant conical hat and pointy shoes and had a thing for altar boys.  It didn't take too long for me to see how utterly ridiculous that whole thing was.
Exactly in point.
