Usually happens 2-3 times a week during a heat wave  where it would rain somewhere between 12-3 PM and can be heavy but they go away quickly. I once briefly lived in Florida and that would happen almost every day and was monsoon like..

Anything over 90 is blistering in these parts esp when it’s nothing but sun, the heat index rises much more than that…
